Starting your journey towards employment doesn’t have to be overwhelming. At RESQ, we work closely with our job seekers to develop a tailored individual plan to connect them with employment opportunities.
We believe the first step is getting to know you. Whether you’re new to the workforce or a mature-aged worker, our team of Employment Consultants (EC) can help you achieve your goals.
To help match you to the right job, we’ll start by getting to know your strengths, capabilities, goals and aspirations. We’ll also identify any challenges or obstacles you may face and opportunities for training.
We’ll create an employment pathway plan that outlines the support, training and practical skills you need to secure a job, including resume writing and job application assistance. We’ll help you access the services you need and supports you need to secure that job. During this time you will have the opportunity to participate in activities that increase your employability skills and support your local community through a range of activities.
We’ll match you with a job or work experience opportunities. In addition to standard job advertisements, we have access to a wide network of employers and community partners offering local and regional placements.
After placement, we’ll offer support to you and your employer for up to 26 weeks to help you transition and remain in employment.
